Environment, People, Imagery, Impact

Hi, It’s Nice to Meet You

Convincing my parents early on that there was value in a dual degree in Cultural Anthropology and Photography was not as hard as you may think (although self-soothing was readily applied early on). I craved meaningful experiences — to be challenged in my worldview, to have measurable impact, all while improving people’s lives and protecting the pale blue dot. I learned to leverage, translate, and make seemingly not so obvious connections; foraging my own non-traditional path in the pursuit of a more dimensionalized approach to life, art, and work.

My passion is at the nexus of environment, people, and conflict - focusing on identifying environmental, economic, and social effects of climate change on vulnerable populations, establishing environmental and social safeguards for resilience, and translating science into results people can embrace and understand.

My site is designed to share my 20+ year dedication to the environment and the cultures and people that rely on its protection… so down the winding path we go.
