An environmental vision that combines bold performance metrics and science-based targets with comprehensive strategies and culturally appropriate conservation and adaptation to address environmental challenges and triple bottom lines

My path is winding and purposeful, deriving ideas, style, and taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. At my core, I am fixated on the relationship between people and their environment - the complex dynamics that exist between the two. Early in my life and my career I was confronted with the reality that only certain outlooks or approaches were being heard, understood, or valued. In a field that purports to work for the benefit of all, it became clear that not everyone was willing or able to understand the “other” even though we are all supposedly working towards the same goal. This drove me to try and shape how I approached my life and work by creating a more harmonious balance in my worldview and an ability to understand this people/environment relationship from a myriad of critical perspectives and mediums.
